We drove a lot of Moldova and whilst pleasant it’s almost all crops.
We drove from Chisinau to see the monastery at Churchi. Gold everywhere inside and a popular spot for pre wedding photos.
Moldova has taken the mantle for worst roads in Europe from Romania. A few goodish ones but mostly potholes.
I can’t think of any reason to be a tourist in Moldova apart from scoring another country (95 for us now) and meeting some genuinely friendly people that want to try out their English with you. It’s not bad in any way but it’s not remarkable either.
