We crossed from Romania at Oancea.

Passport, Driving licence, Vehicle registration required as usual but we also needed to buy 3rd party insurance (Green card) a Vignette to allow us to drive on any Moldovan road. We also need to get a Sim card.
The 3 day vignette was bought at a bank branch next to customs and immigration for 313 MDL, the insurance at a booth next to the first fuel station about 2km from the border for 1093 MDL.
We bought Orange mobile Sim cards at Cahul for 49 MDL with 20GB for 15 days.
We drove to Chisinau down some pretty bad roads and parked outside a restaurant complex near a large lake.

A few dogs barking overnight which we managed to silence by beeping the horn, otherwise peaceful. The restaurants were very busy and the car park was crammed full but no-one objected to us being there or sounded their horns as they left. Nice.
