National Park, 43 Euro entry for the van…ouch. Weather a bit cloudy so the tops of the mountains were in cloud but still a majestic view.

There was a procession of vintage fire engines…we saw at least 50.
Anna’s brakes started overheating with the steep descent so gave them 30 minutes rest and then drove down in 2nd gear with minimal use of the brakes.
Not too much choice to park up but found a flat place in the trees next to a raging river that drowned out the road noise about 100m away.
Park4Nite comments say that they had passing cars honking them in the night. we ended up with 4 cars zooming past honking, at 6pm, 8pm,9.30 pm and lastly at 10.30pm
